Willow Trees

Willow Trees are Almost Magical.

Willow Trees belong to the Salix family, which includes over 100 species. Willows vary greatly in height and shape. The Weeping Willow is certainly the most well-known of the species. The Weeping Willow has long flowing limbs that move gracefully when the wind blows. It is a very popular variety and adds instant character to your property. The Weeping Willow tree roots and grows quickly.  You can expect it to be between 30' and 40' high  and roughly the same width. It flourishes naturally near the edge of ponds, lakes and rivers. Weeping Willow too big for your location? Hybrid Willow is a wonderful smaller tree, often used as an ornamental or accent tree. It's  also attractive used as a border along a sidewalk or driveway. Plant them densely for an effective privacy fence year-around.

Willows are shipped bare root from Garden Plants Nursery and arrive ready to plant.
