Driftwood is a type of wood that has washed up on the beach, riverbank or sea. It is a type of marine debris. For many homeowners that live near a body of water it may become a nuisance but to some who do not have that luxury they like the look but need to purchase it elsewhere. Some driftwood is from older trees that have been in water or laid on the ground for long periods of time and taken a lot of abuse from the weather. Each piece has their own unique look to it and they can be used in many flower beds as accents, aquariums or just to sit around varying on the size.
